Refuling..........

Every now and again I have to refuel and top of the tank. I am chronically anemic and when my levels get to low I have to go in and get some iron infusions. Here we are trying out a new kind. I usually just into my doctor's office and have them do a push but this was an IV this time. It only takes 30 minutes but with hookup time and the 30 minute wait time after to see if I have a reaction its more like 1.5 hours. So not as quick as the doctor's office and not as cheap either, come to find out.

Anyway, a couple of these bags and I'm back to feeling like my old self. At least a little more energetic and positive!! Thank you modern medicine!

Easter Sunday.....

Easter Sunday the kids usually wake up and have Easter baskets waiting for them. This year they each got a shirt and a book and a few other things. And then the bunny does leave a few candy trails around the house they can collect.

It was fun to watch the kids show Luther how to collect the candy into his basket. He of course wanted to eat of it instead of putting it into the basket but he was getting the hang of it. They were all excited and had a good time this morning. I love to see the joy on their faces.

Breakfast we made resurrection rolls this year. The kids helped put the marshmallows(represented Christ) inside the cresent dough(tomb) rolled in butter and then cinnamon sugar(spices and oil put on Christ's body) and then we baked them.

Once they opened the cresents they noticed the marshmallows were gone.....Christ was gone from the tomb.....he was resurrected! Just a little reminder of what Easter is truly about!

All in their Sunday/Easter best. What a blessing they are to me!

Easter Egg Hunt...........

We headed over to gma/gpa Mott's for the big Easter Egg Hunt. The kids love it. It's nice because my mom has a certain amount of eggs for each kid so they don't fight over eggs. So they grab their baskets and off they go. The big kids just take off running and are done pretty quick but its so fun to watch and help the little ones because they love to just search for them and put them in their basket.

Luther had a great time going around with Aunt Amy for awhile. He would say "LOOK," and go run to the egg and grab it. He kept wanting to open the eggs to see what was inside, who wouldn't, but we had to keep going. By the end it looked like he was on the prowl for eggs. He was kinda hunched over sneaking up on the eggs, it was really cute.

Overall, it was a good hunt and the kids got tons of candy!

A new look...........

Julia was tired of her hair and honestly so was I. I was tired of the tears and the fights over just trying to help her brush out her hair everyday. So she said she wanted to get it cut and I was all in. So here are the before and after.........I think it looks fantastic!!

Provo Temple Open House..........

A few years ago the Provo Tabernacle caught on fire and was completely destroyed except the outer walls and one stained glass window of Christ. So one General Conference, President Monson was announcing new temples to be built and he announced that the old Provo Tabernacle would become the 2nd temple in Provo. You could hear an audible gasp in the audience. Everyone was so excited. I think because such a historic landmark wasn't going to be lost but rebuilt.

So once it was rebuilt after a few years it was ready for everyone to go through and see what they had done to turn it into a temple. It was beautiful. They added levels to it and it contained a lot of wood inside. Beautifully carved wood, reminiscent of the time period that the tabernacle had been originally built. They also kept the original stained glass window of Christ with the sheep. They only had to replace a few pieces. It was wonderful to be able to walk through with my family and to have them be able to see the inside of the temple knowing that hopefully they will want to return someday.

Afterwards we got some pictures to capture the day.

The Christus Statue is always a high light. The kids love to
go up the Jesus and look at his hands and feet and touch him.

Christian just off by himself doing his thing
