Our trip to Maui was wonderful!! We went along with Layne's whole family, all the husbands and wives....for a week with no kids.....ABSOULTE HEAVEN!!!!
We had many adventures and truly enjoyed every minute of it. It was so hard to leave. I definetly want to make it back again one day.
One day we hiked through a bamboo forest to get to 4 different waterfalls. We had to scale rock walls and swim 100 yards to get to a few of them. It was quite an adventure. We spent time chilling on the beautiful beaches working on our tan! Did a little snorkeling. It was my first time to do that ...I was nervous at first but once you see the world underneath the surface its peaceful and calm. It was just like the movie "Finding Nemo" so many beautiful fish. I also caught up with a sea turtle and swam along with it.....AWESOME!! The beaches were breath taking...just like all the pictures. The sunsets were magical, the pineapple was delicious and the company was fantastic! The last day we went to the Iao Valley to see the Iao Needle. The valley was so green and lush with vegetation. This is what I picture Hawaii to be.....an absolute Paradise. It was a dream come true. Hawaii is a must see and I was so greatful to be able to experience such a beautiful part of this world we live in!
