Oh What to do on a Saturday......

Well, I was home by myself with the kids all day with Layne at work and then going right to priesthood that night and didn't want to be stuck home all day trying to entertain them. So I drove out to my sisters house and we had a little fun day planned for the kids. We started off with lunch and made 'mummy dogs' and the kids thought they were a big hit.

Cresent dough and hot dogs.....Yummy Mummies!
We let them play and run around outside while we sat and took a little break. They started to get restless and so we decided to get out the craft and make tissue paper fall trees. We traced each kids hand and then they got to crumple up tissue paper and glue them onto their own tree. It was fun and everybody was able to do it with ease! We made sugar cookies for a snack and ate those after our craft.

Halloween Cookies

This was Christian's favorite part of the day!
We wanted to get the kids really worn out so they would go to bed pretty easy so we decided to go to the park and let them run around and play. Its finally fall! And its such great weather to have the kids play and not get to over heated. After the park we decided we didn't want to cook so we got pizza and rootbeer. The kids were so hungry we didn't have any left overs for once! It was a fun day out of the house and being able to play and have fun with cousins. And the kids did go right to bed which made my night a whole lot easier.
