Winter Fun

Julia is always excited to get bundled up and play outside. She doesn't quite know what to do yet. She won't just get out there and play. Because the snow is so crunchy she is afraid to walk by herself because with every step she sinks and her feet get stuck. So she just stands in place until someone takes her hand and helps her. We found a sled at Grandma Mott's house and we pulled her around in it. Amy pulled for awhile but then it was my turn. It didn't last long when it was my turn because we got going a little to fast around a corner and Julia rolled out into the snow and she wasn't happy. She screamed and her faced was covered in snow. She kept saying, "cold snow, fall down." We tried again and as soon as I started to go to fast she would scream, "mommy stop." To afraid to fall out again. Well, needless to say we went inside after that last attempt. Hopefully she will get use to walking and just learning that its ok to sit down and fall down and just play in the snow!!
